Termination of all U.S. Loran-C signals  -  USCG terminated transmission of U.S. Loran-C signals on 08 Feb 2010.  U.S. Loran-C signal unusable.  U.S. participation in Russian-American & Canadian Loran-C chains continues in accordance with international agreements.

Raymarine Recall  -  Raymarine has initiated a voluntary recall of SPX5 Sport Drive Pilot units on sale since February 2009.  Customers should stop using product & arrange de-installation / return to retailer/dealer where purchased for a replacement or, if preferred, refund.

TYPE V PFD CO2 CYLINDER SAFETY NOTICE  -  bayonet tip CO2 cylinders that are not properly installed will not inflate Lifejacket when triggered.  Individuals with inflatable Lifejackets should check to see if unit has a bayonet tip CO2 cylinder.
